COURSE STRUCTURE: PADI how to become SCUBA certified
- ONLINE TRAINING
Online training or eLearning is known as the "knowledge development" portion of the Open Water Diver Course. The online training consists of 5 sections, with a series of questions to be answered at the end of each section. It is designed so you can learn at your own pace and when it's convenient for you. Complete the academics online in preparation for your class & pool sessions.
- CLASS & POOL SESSIONS
2-3 sessions in the class/pool. Completing the online training beforehand greatly reduces the time spent in the formal classroom setting. This means a quick review in the classroom, and then it's off to the pool for confined water training! In the pool, students practice skills that will be used during the open water dives.
- OPEN WATER DIVES
4 open water dives, over a minimum period of 2 days are required to complete the Open Water Certification. These dives are simply a chance for you to show off the skills you learned in the confined water portion of your training.
